PTA Sponsored Events
All of the events below are sponsored by the PTA and the contributions of the Benninghoven Community.
Watermelon Welcome
The Watermelon Welcome is a chance for incoming Kindergartners to meet one another, play games and eat watermelon while their families mingle, ask questions and receive information.
Skating Parties
PTA offers four skating parties at Skate City per school year and a percentage of the proceeds come back to Benninghoven!
Benninghoven Preschool Sneak A Peek
Future Benninghoven students ages 3-5 are invited to visit our school. Come experience PE, music, art and library led by our great staff and 6th grader students! Make new friends, enjoy a snack and see our beautiful school!
Bingo Night
Our free family Bingo event is a chance to have fun, meet other families and win great prizes.
Fall & Spring Book Fairs
PTA invites you to the fall and spring book fairs. At the spring book fair each student receives a free book from the PTA.
Donuts with Grownups
Third graders are able to invite a special guest(s) to enjoy a morning at Benninghoven.
Bike Rodeo
The PTA is a sponsor for the Shawnee Rotary's Bike Rodeo. This is open to all students.
Fall & Spring Picture day
The Great Kindness Challenge
The great kindness challenge is a week long celebration about kindness and provides opportunities for students and families to give back to the community.
Family Fun Nights
Two FREE family fun nights, one in fall and one in spring, to promote community and family fun.
6th Grade Celebration
Event to celebrate the graduating 6th graders and their time at Benninghoven. One highlight is the clap-out for the 6th graders!
Science Enrichment
PTA provides hands on science experiments for the 2nd through 6th grade students.
